System Builders, VARs and Vendors Honored at System Builder Summit and VARVision Spring 2003 Events

Bedford, NH, March 27, 2003 — The leading system builders and value-added resellers (VARs) from North America, along with technology vendors, were recognized for their achievements at the recent System Builder Summit and VARVision Spring 2003 events, held March 16-19 at the Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress in Orlando, Florida.

At the co-located events, vendor companies were honored for their technology innovation and channel strategies, and system builders and VARs were recognized for their leadership and service during the Peak Performer Awards and Best of VARVision Awards ceremony. For the past four years, the Peak Performer Awards have been acknowledged as the white box channel's leading honors, while the Best of VARVision Awards have been the leading honors for the VAR channel.

The vendor award winners were voted on by the prequalified audience of system builder or VAR executives invited to attend System Builder Summit or VARVision Spring 2003 to preview and learn about new technologies, products and services while assessing potential partnership opportunities at the event's Private Boardroom Appointments and World Premieres.

"These awards are a barometer of the highest levels of leadership, innovation and excellence in the technology marketplace," said Eric Lesonsky, event director for System Builder Summit and VARVision. "The Peak Performer Awards and Best of VARVision Awards are particularly notable because nominees and winners are recognized by their peers and partners in the channel."

The winners of the Spring 2003 Peak Performer Awards were as follows:

  • Best System Builder Program or Promotion – NEC-Mitsubishi Electronics
