System Builders and Vendors honored with Peak Performer Awards
at System Builder Summit Fall 2001 Event

Portland, OR, October 3, 2001 — Leading system builders from the United States, Canada, and Latin America attended System Builder Summit Fall 2001 September 23-26, 2001. At the "Peak Performer"‰ Awards ceremony and formal dinner held September 25th at the Hyatt Regency in San Diego, California, vendor companies were recognized for their technology innovation and channel strategies, and system builders were recognized for their leadership and service. For the past three years the "Peak Performer" Awards have been acknowledged as the white box channel’s leading honors. System Builder Summit is produced by Vision Events®, a Gartner, Inc. (NYSE: IT and ITB) company.

The vendor award winners were voted on by the prequalified audience of system builder executives invited to attend System Builder Summit Fall 2001 to preview and learn about new technologies, products and programs while assessing potential partnership opportunities at the event’s Private Boardroom Appointments. These focused and confidential boardroom meetings are an integral part of the decision-making process that white box builders undertake in order build systems and expand their businesses.

"System Builder Summit Fall provided more than ninety vendors the unique opportunity to efficiently and cost-effectively showcase their new products and present their technology road maps to key decision makers and the ‘Peak Performer ‘ awards recognize vendors for their achievements in this channel,” said Al Rowley, event director for System Builder Summit. The winners of the latest “Peak Performer” Awards were as follows:
