Hewlett Packard names Jetta Tech as Exclusive Partner for UPS Line
Lake Forest, CA, September 5, 2000 -– Jetta Tech has been selected to exclusively represent the Hewlett Packard (HP) Uninterrupted Power Supplies (UPS) line in the United States, announced Jetta Tech today. The HP UPS series will be sold through retail, system builders, distribution and direct to a limited number of vertical markets, including government and education. A first-time introduction to the top revenue producers in the system builder channel will be made during System Builder Summit, September 24-27th, 2000 at the Arizona Biltmore Resort in Phoenix, Arizona.
"The HP UPS line offers a selection of compact, reliable, and cost effective solutions for the SOHO and small-to-midsize business markets," said Edward Chen, Marketing Director, Jetta Tech. "We plan to penetrate this market rapidly and effectively by developing partnerships with the system builders who support these businesses across the country."
The HP on-line UPS series provides total power protection ranging from slim-line HP 500VA to 20K Mainframe UPS. "The electricity crunch has already started in dense regions of the U.S., causing temporary shutdowns of businesses from California to New York", said Chen. "There’s a need for every computer user to be ready for power outages and down time. We’re pleased to be able to offer the HP solution to the problem."
