What is IT ChannelVision?

IT ChannelVision is the new name for an expanded Event that brings together the market dynamics and partnership opportunities of three premier IT events - System Builder Summit, VARVision, and EnterpriseVision. IT ChannelVision is designed to facilitate more consumer, SMB and enterprise-focused market opportunities than any other IT program, as well as the emerging market in digital home networking. It provides focused and efficient business environments conducive to getting business done.

The concept is simple and proven: Bring the most influential System Builders and Solution Providers face-to-face with the industry's leading and emerging product and services Vendors in multiple settings.

Private Boardroom Appointments provide the opportunity for Vendors to gain a first mover advantage with the most influential System Builders and Solution Providers. The IT Solution Center offers a one-on-one format ideal for Vendors to showcase new technologies as well as conduct in-depth discussions that develop stronger partnerships. Numerous social opportunities and networking events complete this productive business environment.

Why have System Builder Summit, VARVision and EnterpriseVision been brought together to form this single Event?

While System Builders and Solution Providers have traditionally operated in distinct niches, they are now increasingly serving common customers and markets. IT ChannelVision is built to deliver the best of both worlds. It will maintain the focus on vertical market spaces that have made System Builder Summit, VARVision and EnterpriseVision industry-defining Events. It will also offer Vendors the added value of reaching new and crossover markets in a single venue.

What are the advantages of the IT ChannelVision model over traditional IT trade shows?

There are several key advantages. In the standard trade show model, the prospective audience is mass marketed to, and the quantity and quality of the audience that shows up is always an unknown variable.

IT ChannelVision pre-selects, invites and delivers the highest-level Decision-Makers to the event. We know who is coming, and so do you. At standard trade shows, floor traffic is a hit-or-miss proposition; even if the right buyers are at the show, there is no guarantee that they'll stop by your booth.

At IT ChannelVision, we give you the tools and the format to meet with specific System Builders and Solution Providers in one-on-ones, present to a select and pre-qualified group in private boardrooms, and interact in a series of networking events. The face time you spend with key customers and prospects is highly structured. Your ROI is maximized. Every aspect of the event is carefully planned to ensure Vendor satisfaction and success, at a level of customization and personalized service no standard trade show can match.

How is the ROI superior to that realized through other marketing and sales vehicles?

At IT ChannelVision, a Vendor can make dozens of successful face-to-face sales calls over four days - and these are far more substantive, in-depth meetings than are found at a typical trade show. A single trip to this Event represents consolidation of IT marketing expenditures, multiple sales calls, and even travel and expense lines. Furthermore, in this challenging economy, many Vendors are cutting back on marketing vehicles that deliver weak or hard-to-measure results: trade magazine advertising, web advertising, and participation in horizontal trade shows. The core results from IT ChannelVision are immediately measurable and quantifiable.

Can I present to System Builders and Solution Providers in the same Private Boardroom Appointment?

In order to give you the most focused meeting environment, you will have the option to present to a dedicated group of System Builders or Solution Providers. The choice is yours, and of course you may select different groups within your overall Boardroom package depending on your market objectives. We will not be offering combined groups within the same Boardrooms.

What are Industry Insight presentations?

Industry Insight presentations are interactive forums where Gartner analysts and industry experts present the latest in industry conditions, trends, and strategies. The content provided in Industry Insight presentations is focused on assisting you in driving your IT business.

How can small Vendors compete with the large, well-branded companies of the world for the attention of the System Builders and Solution Providers?

One of the most exciting aspects of the Private Boardroom Appointments is that they put every company in front of the Decision-Makers. All Vendors have access to the same audience. This means that a small startup Vendor has the same opportunity to see the same System Builders and Solution Providers as a major industry player.

What is the difference between a Private Boardroom Appointment and a World Premiere?

Private Boardroom Appointments are prescheduled presentations conducted in boardrooms or suites with focused groups of eight to ten System Builders or Solution Providers. These appointments are designed for you to gather feedback on your products, services, channel programs, and value propositions.

World Premieres are theatre-style venues reserved expressly for the launch of products and programs. A targeted audience ensures you maximum product launch and brand visibility.

Are there other ways to deliver my company's message?

Before, during, and after the Events, there are a variety of ways to gain visibility. In a World Premiere presentation, you can present to all attending System Builders and Solution Providers at one time. At the IT Solution Center, you can discuss your products and solutions at length at your dedicated booth space. And, as a participating Vendor, we deliver your company profile to System Builders and Solution Providers in advance of the Events, and will develop and execute any customized promotion that will enhance your company's success. Additionally, as a Sponsor, you'll benefit from inclusion in collateral, the Web site, signage, and the Event Directory/Program Guide.

When should I arrive for and depart from the Events?

You should plan on arriving at the Events on Tuesday, May 21st. By arriving on this day, you can register, gather information on your boardroom attendees, and fine-tune your presentation to your specific audience. This will also help prevent missing boardroom appointments due to delayed or canceled flights. Additionally, the IT Solution Center will be open on Tuesday afternoon, so be prepared to be set up, and ready to meet the System Builders and Solution Providers at your space prior to 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 21st. Departure flights from the Events should be scheduled after the awards program has concluded. Materials for shipping will not be distributed until after the close of the Events.

What is the cost to attend the Events?

Vendors may choose from several participation packages based on their needs and budget. The Events are expected to sell out. We recommend that you sign up early! To discuss how IT ChannelVision can help you make the most of your marketing budget, contact us.
