IT SOLUTION PROVIDERS
This FAQ section is designed to answer the most common questions from IT Solution Providers about the format, programs, networking events and business advantages of IT ChannelVision: Government Edition.
What networking opportunities do Solution Providers have to build partnerships with IT Vendors?
Every component of the three-day Event is designed to maximize your exposure to and interaction with leading and emerging technology Vendors.
In Private Boardroom Appointments, you will meet with your peers to hear from Vendors presenting solutions for the federal marketplace. This is an opportunity to evaluate new technologies and channel programs, as well as provide direct feedback and exchange dialogue on specific IT issues.
Solutions Central offers a forum for Solution Providers to meet with Vendors to discuss partnerships and programs specific to your needs in an informal business venue.
At Peer Exchanges, IT Solution Providers and Vendors share ideas and advice, and build relationships in roundtable discussions focused on top-of-mind issues.
Additionally, there are numerous opportunities such as golf to interact with Vendors and fellow Solution Providers in social settings.
Will there be opportunities to meet with other Solution Providers?
There will be multiple opportunities for interaction with other Solution Providers. These include the peer exchange sessions, One-on-One Meetings that can be arranged on-site, and networking opportunities in the many special events including the welcome reception, golf tournament, and Awards celebration evening.
One-on-One Meetings are a valuable component of the IT ChannelVision: Government Edition program. Solution Providers will have the opportunity to schedule One-on-One Meetings with Vendors, other Solution Providers, and Gartner analysts. These meetings can be arranged on-site and will take place in designated meeting areas. One-on-Ones enable you to engage in discussions with potential partners, as well as learn about federal market opportunities and strategies from leading Gartner analysts.

What is the difference between a Private Boardroom Appointment and a World Premiere Presentation?
Private Boardroom Appointments are prescheduled presentations conducted in small meeting rooms or suites with groups of eight to ten IT Solution Providers. This setting provides for interaction between the Vendor and IT Solution Providers. During boardrooms you will discuss new solutions, services, and channel programs.
World Premiere Presentation are theatre-style presentations reserved exclusively for Vendors to present new products or programs to all of the IT Solution Providers attending IT ChannelVision: Government Edition at one time. This venue offers you the opportunity to gain the competitive edge.
What makes this event different from other government events?
Advantageous timing
IT ChannelVision: Government Edition is the first Event totally focused on driving business in the federal IT channel - at a time when the government is projected to be the fastest growing market. The Event will be held in December after the "fulfillment craze" and before budgets are finalized for the next year. This is the best time for Solution Providers to focus on the products, technologies and partnerships they need for the year ahead.
Gartner Analysts
IT ChannelVision: Government Edition will share research and expertise as presented by Gartner through General Session presentations.
Invitation-Only Audience
Unlike other government events, IT ChannelVision: Government Edition is accessible by "invitation only". This ensures that you will be joined by a group of high-level peers, and will have added-value opportunities to discuss subcontracting and other business opportunities with Solution Providers.
